A Cooperative Vision

From its roots as a transportation company started in the 1920s, Scott Atthowe shaped Atthowe Fine Art Services into an internationally respected leader in fine art handling and installation.

Scott’s passing in the fall of 2024 marked a profound loss for his family, colleagues, friends, and community, but his impact lives on. His choice to transition Atthowe into a worker-owned cooperative—made possible with support from Project Equity—ensures that the employees who helped build this company now own its future. His legacy continues through the hands of Atthowe’s worker-owners, who remain committed to the values he championed.

To honor Scott and his vision, we invite you to watch this video, created by Project Equity, featuring reflections from Scott and the Atthowe team.
